The Arabian Sea Low Pressure Is Being Born Now

A low pressure area is being born now

As I write these words a churning in the great mass of rain clouds in south Arabian Sea has begun. And as you read these words a low pressure area is being born in the sea. Latitude 4 degrees North. Longitude 65 degrees East.

This low pressure area will carry a phenomenal amount of water in the clouds. And as it starts moving in a NNE direction the power of the system will increase. The system is expected to slowly intensify as it moves. The core of the area will be throwing down 9 inches of rain. Lot of water that is.

Latest forecasts say that it will not move closer to Kerala as was anticipated earlier but move straight in the general direction of Gujarat in the coming days.

So Kerala will be robbed of the rains. What of the system? Will it intensify in a depression? Very likely. A big cyclone? That we have to wait and watch.

Where will the system go? Hard to say now. Gujarat? Pakistan? Or Oman?

Wait for our updates.
