KEILA LATEST: Will Strike North Oman BY June 10, Will Skim Gujarat Coast

Keila Is Still Headed For Oman. But it will travel flirtatiously very close from the Saurashtra (India) coast. Keila,s point of impact in Oman has nudged slightly northward. The Omani towns of Sur and Al Kamil will be hit first. Muscat too will see lot of rains and wind. So will Dubai and southern Iran. Especially the Iranian town of Chahbahar. Make no mistake. Keila is going to be a monster. A big strong powerful lady.


It is June 10. Friday evening. Keila is about to enter Oman. This lady is big. Lots of power. Strong winds. Torrential rains.

LATEST NEWS FORECAST FOR TROPICAL STORM KEILA
  • It will arise near the Arabian Sea coast near Mumbai on Monday evening (GMT). June 6, 2011.
  • It will then over the next two days playfully skim the coast of Saurashtra. It will be a small cyclone. Wind speeds of about 70-80 Kmph. This will happen till June 8.
  • Then. Keila will start gaining strength rapidly and turn into a monster. Wind speeds of more than 120 Kmph. It will move towards north Oman.
  • It will hit the northern Oman coast by Friday June 10, 2011,evening (GMT) near the towns of Sur and Al Kamil
  • It will then weaken slowly over the next two days. But Muscat, and also Dubai will see a lot of wind and rain. Even Southern Iran. Especially the towns of Chahbahar and Bandar-e-Abbas.
CONCLUSION

One thing is ominous. The predicted course of Keila is slowly inching northwards towards the Saurashtra (Indian) coast. There are still two days left for Keila to be born. Will she change her mind and dump Oman and shower her fury on Saurashtra (and maybe the Pakistani coast)? The UK Metoffice has predicted that Keila will hit the Saurashtra coast by June 10.
