The ECMWF Model Says Nanauk will move north and weaken till it hits Pakistan

There is a great deal of uncertainty about the future of cyclone Nanauk.

The ECMWF model says the storm will start moving north towards Pakistan coast and start weakening. By the time it reaches Pakistan coast near Karachi it will be a low pressure area. So south coastal Pakistan can expect a deluge from Friday, June 13, 2014.

CYCLONE NANAUK IS COMING! TO HIT NORTH OMAN COAST ON JUNE 13, 2014, FRIDAY. WIND SPEEDS WILL BE 75 KPH WHEN IT TOUCHES THE OMAN COAST. WAVES OF 1 TO 2 METERS WILL LASH COAST.

Latest forecasts by both GFS and NAVGEM say that the existing low pressure area in the Arabian Sea will rapidly intensify into a tropical cyclone tomorrow. That is Monday, June 9, 2014, near the Indian coast of Goa.

It is expected to move north then curve towards north Oman and hit it on Friday, June 13, 2013. (SEE EXPECTED PATH/TRACK)
